APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Complete and return the following:

1. Application Form
2. $250.00 Deposit (Deposit includes a non-refundable $50.00 processing fee)
3. Color Photo

Receipt of completed application form and deposit will place the applicant's name on the SRD Application List. Fully executed contracts will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the dorm reaches capacity status.  Executed contracts are signed by all parties and include a $750 prepayment fee. 

All correspondence, cancellations/changes of applications or contracts must be put in writing to:    jessica@srd.org

Once you’ve been accepted to The University of Texas, you will be receiving information from UT regarding its six summer orientation sessions for incoming freshman.  Orientation will help you get better acquainted with University life, meet with an academic advisor, register for fall classes, take placement tests, meet other students, and answer all your questions about UT Austin.

SRD welcomes you and your friends to stay with us for your orientation.  We are offering a two night/three day option at $110.00 and three night/four day option at $165.00. This includes meals and parking.  Most girls decide to come the night before their session begins.

Things to bring:

-          Linens-including pillow (Standard twin)

-          Soap, washcloth, towels, shower shoes, etc.

-          $25.00 room key deposit- Either check or money order (it will be returned to resident when they check out and leave their key at the front desk)

-          Alarm clock (testing begins early)

-          Several #2 pencils for tests

-          Scientific or graphing calculators (if taking Math Test). Please note, calculators will not be provided by test administrators, and are essential to taking the Math Test.

-          Comfortable walking shoes

-          Umbrella/Raincoat (if necessary)

-          Spending money

Check- In:  The Day before UT Orientation Begins:           2:00pm – 8:00pm

Check- In:  The First Day of UT Orientation:                        8:00am

Check- Out:  The Last Day of UT Orientation:                     12:30pm

If you would like to room with a friend attending the same orientation session, be sure each of you complete the Roommate Request box on the application.

Application Forms will be available online at SRD.ORG and in your contract packet once UT makes dates available.  We will also be housing for transfer orientation dates as well.
